Nestled in the foothills of the Northern Drakensberg Mountains, overlooking the the Kilburn Dam, sits Sasi Bush Lodge- a luxury tented safari bush camp.
Offering guests a wide array of adventure activities such as 4x4 game drives, guided walks, a food safari in the African bush and celebratory food and gift packages.
A 21km scenic drive will bring you to Royal Natal National Park- a UNESCO World Heritage Site- which plays host to unforgettable hikes including the Tugela Gorge Walk. A further 1.5 hour drive will get you to Sentinel Car Park whereby you may get the chance to stand on top of the highest Waterfall collection in the world- Tugela Falls!

Our aim is to revive the ecosystem by re-wilding the lands with the ancient creatures that once roamed here; and remove the alien vegetation that has crept in over the years.
We invite you to join us in an extended version of our way of life, a life that has inspired us to embrace our South African roots. We hope to inspire others who share in our interest of the environment, natural beauty and simple South African pleasures.
Jujube
Perched in amongst the Jujube Buffalo-Thorn Trees, is our most romantic unit. A king-sized bed, kitchenette, open-air bathtub, rain shower, private toilet, raised deck, log fire and chirping birds above, make for a perfect romantic getaway.
Ukusa
With 365° views overlooking the Drakensberg Mountains, this is one for the adventure seekers. Separate the king sized bed into two singles if it suits better and enjoy luxury amenities like a tea and coffee station, private deck and log fireplace.
Sundown
For friends and family alike- two semi divided rooms sleeping four adults or a couple with three children. Complete with a kitchenette, full private bathroom (and best bath on the property,) log fireplace, and magnificent Mountain View’s and dam views.
